Van’t Hoff Equation

Van’t Hoff equation relates the chemical equilibrium constant and temperature by thermodynamic relation of Gibbs-Helmholtz free energy equation. The Van't Hoff equation has been widely utilized to explore the changes in state functions in a thermodynamic system.
According to Vant Hoff, at a given temperature, the equilibrium constant of the chemical reaction remains unchanged, but change considerably when the temperature is changed. It can be derived thermodynamically from Gibbs – Helmholtz free energy equation.
Van't Hoff Euation If the equation-3 is integrated between two temperatures T1 and T2 at which the equilibrium constants are KP1 and KP2 respectively assuming that ΔHo remains constant over a range of temperature.
